Description

Talon

I surf.

I f*ck.

I pretend to smile.

Two years ago my life was perfect, until it wasn't. I scattered my wife's ashes then walked away from the Marines. I didn't think I had anything left to lose.

I was wrong.

The blonde showed up on my doorstep beaten and stabbed. I did what I was trained to do—I stitched her up. I didn't have a clue who she was and I told myself I didn't care. Until they came looking for her.

I swore I'd take my last breath before I let anyone else hurt her, except I didn't know she was keeping a deadly secret. Now I had two choices, her life or mine.

Marriage and combat taught me the same thing—I was no one's hero. And I was about to prove it.

Talon was a great book suspense, thrills, hope, and love were what made up this book I plan to read all of the series! And the sex scenes weren’t too long to make it uncomfortable

I thought this book was well written. I started reading it on an airplane coming back to kc mo. from Seattle Washington. I’m glad I started reading it on the plane cause I’m afraid of flying. This book got my attention almost immediately and as I read the thought of being on a plane was in the background of my mind. I really enjoyed how I could understand talons thoughts and feelings in grave detail. I realized how men hold back soo much emotion, which before I read this book I had a feeling they did. This book shows how men can seem so manly on the outside when they are really crumbling on the inside. I enjoyed the story about the bike gang and the cartel it was intense and it was hard for me to put the book down the suspense kept me wanting to read more. I enjoyed how realistic it was with the graphic detail about sirens scars and how they found her daughter and when the two were brought together I actually cried being a mother myself. I loved that it had a happy ending for all of them. I plan to read lots more of these series. Thank you for sharing to the author.

Good, not great, but I enjoyed it. I think I’ll look at the other books in the series!
  • Talon needs serious therapy. Maybe even hospitalization.

This book could have been good but it’s just angry, foul mouthed criminals treating women like property. The level of aggression and the pathetic woman...never mind, I give up. It’s just horrible.

Amazing author who knows how to write a good thriller with a happily ever after romance. I can’t wait to read about Neil and the rest of their adventures.
  • Too much...

Great read and good plot. However, I don’t like it when a woman keeps secrets and makes things worse. Talon was angry with the people helping him the whole book. Just wasn’t believable.
  • Not too shabby

The book wasn’t too bad surprisingly. The book was pretty lengthy. I loved the ending of the book. Short and sweet.
